In the opening matches of the DreamHack Regional Minor Championship at DH Tours 2016 Orbit defeated SK (16-6 on Cobblestone) while dignitas overcame Epsilon (16-11 on Overpass).

The European Regional Minor Championship has commenced with the first Group A matches already behind us. In the first match, Orbit took on SK on de_cobblestone. The Bulgarian team got off to an amazing start winning every clutch situation to win the first half on the weaker CT side, 11-4.

In the second half it was more of the Orbit show as they continued to run all over the Danish team. Before long, the team known as the Bulgarian Lions, put themselves in a position with 10 match points. Eventually they were able to close out the match and pull off the upset against SK, 16-6.

At the same time Epsilon played Dignitas in the parallel group A match, this time on de_overpass. The storyline for the first half was pretty much the same as Dignitas powered through the weaker Terrorist side to finish it out over the Swedish team, 11-4.

Dignitas came out just as strong in the second half as in the first taking the important pistol round to put themselves in a great position to close out the match. At this point it was Epsilon that started mounting a comeback and for a second it looked like they might be able to even force the match into overtime. Dignitas, however, had a different plan and ended up closing out the match, 16-11.

Up next will be the Group A Winner's Match and Group A Elimination Match where Epsilon will play Dignitas for a spot in the playoff stage while Epsilon will take on SK as the two teams play for their survival at 13:30 .
